Civil War Railroads & Models
I am a modeler of the Orange and Alexandria Railroad of the Civil War Years. I was very impressed with the detail of pictures,illustrations and drawings of locomotives,cars,structures,and other devices. Scenes to model gave me interest. It is the most complete work I have seen with a good desciptive narrative. The measured drawings I have found very useful. Detail chapters of Alexandria and Atlanta. Some details of the Lincoln Coach are included. I was disapointed with no color schemes, no color illustrations(even some the black and white illustrations look like they could have been color), its all black and white. Overall still a great referance.
