Wonderful
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I picked up this book after watching an episode of the BBC movie version. The book far outshines the movie, as most do. I was impressed by her writing and her ability to keep me entertained. The book takes place over a long period of time, but at no point do you feel that the flow is slowing down or going too fast. It covers so many different sociological aspects from race to deviance, but it doesn't preach. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes to examine other cultures or societies. It is fresh and exciting and a great read.

Amazing movie
I truly loved this movie. It is wonderfully written and produced. I would recommend this movie to anyone. You have to watch it to truly understand the full scope of the movie. It is more than just a prison drama or a violent epic. You can see how much thought was put into every scene and storyline. True attention to detail. Don't pass up this movie, you'll regret it.
