Try it, you'll like it!
Great saddle even for those that might not feel the springer love. Weight weenies might not approve, but your bottom will be very appreciative. As a rider with six B-17's (including three ti's) this is a wonderful addition to my vintage mixte frame along with Velo-Orange Tourist Bars. Tell Igor I sent you ;-)

When stopping matters
Have used carbon pads in the past and these are very good quality and a great value.

Have used in the past and the quality is still there!
Mounted to my vintage motorcycle, it is a lifesaver and sounds like a decent-sized lorry (truck.)
Got a very distracted drivers attention the first day it was mounted.
One special note: the brackets are NON-removable and clearly marked as such.
