Simpler times, simpler fps games
Turok is a fun title from the early 2000's. A continuation of the Turok games from the popular N64 games. It is both detailed and lacking in it design. The overall level designs are linear, which isn't a bad thing at all. The world you play in is inhabited by all sorts of dinosaurs and creatures you'd even see today. The enemy designs are pretty unique to the series considering they are a humanoid dinosaur people. A cool feature of the game is being able to disable and enable gore. It's not ridiculously hard , just a fun old game with bland graphics. I'd normally brush over the graphics as it is an older title, but compared to other games at the time, it isn't all too pretty. The sound design is not the best either as certain voice recordings are horrid. I loved this game as a kid and still have fun playing through it. This game also has local deathmatch up to 4 players, which can be a lot of fun!
