High quality 'ultra-coarse' grater
I bought this grater as a replacement for my tired and rusty box grater, and as an accompaniment to my previously purchased Microplane zester. In that role, all I can say is that I stuck with my box grater for far too long! This product is extremely well made and utilizes very high quality materials and manufacturing techniques. It is MUCH easier to clean, and MUCH more effective at grating everything from soft cheese to carrots. Although I use a food processor for larger quantities of vegetables, this grater could work well in a pinch. As a bonus, it takes up far less drawer space than my old box grater, of which I only used the coarse side anyway. Made in USA. What more could you want?

Makes ice while the poles melt.
Produces large quantities of ice in a surprisingly short time! Quiet and, so far, reliable. Space efficient, simple to use, terrific value!
