Def Tech W Studio Soundbar
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I'm not an audiophile and bought this for space considerations because there was no convenient way to setup my 5.1 A/V system after a room redo, but here's my impressions after a month of ownership. The product is very well made. You can see the craftsmanship is top notch. The sound is excellent, and I like the fact that you can adjust the volume of the center speakers on the bar to improve hearing the dialog portion of what your watching. The stereo separation and bass performance are no where near that of my A/V system. But that's the trade off when using a sound bar. I like the fact that it can access the internet so I can still listen to my favorite radio and music stations. Tech Support was easily accessible and they were always very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. After using it for a couple of weeks I called to find out if wireless surround speakers were available and was told no. The tech support person said they would be available for the W Micro System after a firmware upgrade that will be made available some time around June 2016. Had I known this I think I would have purchased the Micro System, which is considerably less money and added the surround speakers when the upgrade became available. The system is well engineered as a product at this price point should be.

Great painting aid for the DIY Home Owner
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This product is constructed mostly out of plastic, which is why I didn't rate it 5 stars. That's not a negative, for the occasional use a DIY homeowner like me gives it, it is built well and works terrific! I don't know how well it would hold up if a professional painter used it constantly. That doesn't mean it wouldn't last. It seems to be well made. I can disassemble it completely to wash it off, which is another big plus!

Overall I am pleased with my purchase.
4 von 4 finden das hilfreich Not being an audiophile, these speakers serve their purpose and sound fine to my untrained ear.
They didn't take up as much space as my old ones and I was able to get rid of the cumbersome subwoofer which was why I bought them in the first place.
One thing they're lacking is a small LED on the front to indicate when they're on. There's a small dot on the front of the volume/on-off knob which I filled in with a red magic marker to make it easier to see when the switch is in the off position because I don't like to leave the power on when I'm not using them.
The headphone jack on the front of the right speaker under the control knob is a nice touch and works well.
