THE TIME BANDITS DVD Terry Gilliam-John Cleese-Sean Connery-Shelley Duvall-Good

Once again, I would seem to differ with the majority on this one.
I am surprised whenever I am reminded that this has been Terry Gilliam's best-selling, and most highly praised movie, up to the present day. Simply because I have to disagree. (As I implied in the title, my tastes often differ from the mainstream's.) It is a Terry Gilliam movie, yes, so it is better than most other movies. It is well-directed, and has a great story. Stuff we can expect from Gilliam. But in my opinion it moves "slower" than his other films, and is one of my least favorite, if not my very least favorite, of all of his films. Is it worth watching? Of course. But re-watching? I must say I've seen it 3 or 4 times, and tend to forget most of the action after a while. It is not, in my opinion, as memorable as his other films. My own Terry Gilliam favorites: 12 MONKEYS, ZERO THEOREM, and THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS. I tend to prefer his more recent works. But even the much-maligned ADVENTURES OF BARON MUNCHAUSEN I have found to be more entertaining and compelling than this one. Maybe my opinion will change over time, but somehow I think not. (I WILL say this for TIME BANDITS: As a Christian, I appreciate the fair representation of God / The Supreme Being, in this film, especially as revealed in its great ending.)

Voodoo Child : End of Everything CD

Best Album To Sleep To Ever!
Wonderful, beautiful, long, but totally worthy and lovely tracks from Voodoo Child (an alias of Moby). Moby at some of his best. Putting this album on "repeat" mode as you relax and sleep will help you get restful, rejuvenating sleep. :-) (I've done that with hundreds of other albums, and tried it with hundreds of others, but none come as close to this as far as being a great relaxation and/or sleep album.)
Collected Shorter Plays by Samuel Beckett

Has at least one masterpiece.
This might've been worth buying for "Krapp's Last Night" alone.
