A handy guide, a lovely read
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Compact, easy-to-carry guide that makes for good reading to get the most out of your national parks experience. We had both this and Fodor's for a recent trip to see most of the parks out west. Fodor's is good for voluminous listings of the practical info, all the ancillary things to do and see (e.g. much more detailed and accurate price listings for area lodging and dining), whereas this book is a better integrated overview of history, nature, lore and culture woven together with lush photos (so beautiful I wish I could see them in larger format, but glad the book's easy to tote).

Terrific Holiday Music
I heard this band/arranger on Sirius XM and was so impressed I tracked down the CD. Terrific renditions of holiday classics in a really cool style - a blend of Big Band with a modern touch. Perfect for a party.
