Brilliant collection of stories
A wonderful collection of short stories from one of the great twentieth century Irish writers. Superb in every possible way.

Classic 1970s British novel

I read this book because it was written by Stuart Lauder and I have become fascinated by him and his six novels (please see the section following the review headed in capitals 'About the Author') which are only available to read by buying them, which I am in the process of doing. Superficial and a waste of money
A book of poorly researched travel articles about various saints and their cults. Superficially and bad value for money. I think saints cults are ridiculous, I have no problems with the authors doubts - but they are so superficial as to a waste of time. A truly dreadful book.
