Powerful machine that does everything. Graphics, Programming, Video, Unix..

Powerful machine that does everything. Unix backend, secure, stable fast and flexible.... virtual machines run excellent and throughput is wide. I use this for my full time work doing oracle tuning and java development. Web development and photoshop work with a little photography on the side.... it does it all...

Suprising quality in this lens

I've owned Nikon, Canon, Sigma and Tamron lenses of this zoom range before (Still do in Nikon). This Sony lens exceded my expectations and has produced excetional images on my A77 II. If you're looking for this range to get closer this will perform well but I would expect you'll need some stabilization. It is a bit hefty in weight but worth it.

Great phone as a secondary device apps growing everyday.

Very good phone. The WebOS is one of my favorites. I do wish there were more apps but I expect that is on the rise and there are more coming every day. I love the tethering features and the keyboard. It's smaller than my iPhone but has all the major features I'd need in the iPhone.
