The Girls Who Went Away

I believe that "the baby scoop era" is a part of history that is hidden and never talked about.
I admire Ann for writing this book and the ladies that told their stories. I am honored to say that I know some of these ladies through the internet and meeting them in person. I met Ann a few years ago and was drawn to her for her warmth and understanding.
I have bought several of these books for my family and for my son that found me June 2001. I lost him to adoption in 1965. My prayers were answered the day I heard his voice on the phone.
