Using eneloops it doesn't work in many applications
The adapters leave the AA eneloop batteries a little short of a standard C when they are line up end to end and the do not hit the contacts in many of my c battery powered equipment. Interestingly, the work when I swap in alkaline AAs.

An awesome way to fix wheels with the cheap plastic hubs
Worked like a charm. Fit my Craftsman mower with the 14 inch wheels. So much cheaper than buyin new wheels

great D cell replacement
I always seem to run short of D batteries but have boxes of AA alkalines and rechargeables. This is a great solution for me. I use it in the camplights and flashlights as it is easier to carry around spare AAs than spare D's. This new version appears to be almost identical in size as real Ds. Works fine in everything including my Maglights (I saw reviews that the old version did not work well in Maglights). Battery life is shorter than with Ds but given how easy they are to replace, it has not been a problem with my LED flashlights and lights.
