Best and only stand for Barbie
Kaiser 2201 stands are the perfect stand for all your Barbie dolls. They grip the doll's waist so you can move your doll from one place to another without the stand dropping off the doll's legs as straddle stands do. By gripping the hard plastic with the coated wire, they won't leave indentation marks as stands that grip the thigh, which are made of soft vinyl. I have tried all three types and found these stands are the most satisfactory. I would recommend these stands for all deboxed Barbie dolls, whether the dolls belong to an adult collector or a child.

Pattern makes heirloom quality dolls.
The white fringed dress is very similar to the white dress of Paradise Publications 1925 Jeweled Flapper Girls, which I have made, so I am familiar with this designer's patterns. She is very specific about the gauge, number of stitches in each row, and beading technique. The beaded patterns do not work up as fast as non-beaded patterns, as you are sliding sequins or beads as you work. But the results are stunning and worthy of display. These are not for children as there are a lot of small parts. This pattern is for the intermediate to experienced crocheter. While the stitches are basic, beading takes practice and patience.

Absolute favorite 80's show
This show was and is amazing. This was released from 1982 to 1987 and showcased a young Pierce Brosnan before he became James Bond and the star of the remake "The Thomas Crown Affair." Stephanie Zimbalist is delightful as the female private investigator who invented Remington Steele as a fictitious boss because women were still breaking into men's careers and people were passing her by for male private investigators. Then he shows up and suddenly "she does the work while he takes the bows!" The show has humor, danger, conflict between the sexes, romance and intelligent material. Plus it's nice to see the glamorous 1980's again where people never heard of wearing jeans to work. At the start of the second season, the character Mildred Krebs (Doris Roberts) was added, and she was part of the show until the end.
