Awesome story of tremendous faith
We have known and loved this true story of these heroes of faith for over 40 years since coming to know the Lord Jesus Christ. It is one of our very favorites and we have shared it with our family down to our grandchildren and many of our friends who had not had the privilege of knowing about them. It encourages those of faith to know that these 5 men and their families who were in their late 20's and 30's, to be willing to live for Christ but also knowing that they were willing to die if it would bring these savages to faith. One specific statement of the men that stays with me is that these men refused to carry guns while trying to reach these people. His statement was, "we are ready to die and they aren't."

Reflections of The Lord Is My Shepherd
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I read A Shepherd looks at Psalm 23 and loved it. I read this to my residents who cannot get out to activities at the nursing home where I work. There is so much allegory and Scripture to this wonderful book. God's Word promises His word "won't return unto Him void" and also the Word is "powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword". I claim those promises while reading His Word that It will go to their Spirit and accomplish that which is sent forth.
