Does its job.

I have only used the appliance as a copier so far, which was my immediate objective. That function works smoothly. Cannot comment on the other functions as I haven't used them.

WOTIF?

Well, this material would only be compelling to someone who has an interest in investigating how certain entrenched customs and sports developed. The book's title is a contentious one and I'm not certain that I totally agree. The author makes a lot of interesting assertions without necessarily documenting them. He does provide some well-documented biographical information on Alexander Cartwright "the man who invented baseball" -- according to the author. There is a lot of interesting speculation, with some reference to earlier sources, as to Baseball's development in antiquity. An entertaining read but much in it is not established as far as I'm concerned. Should be read for enjoyment.

Be careful to interpret the product description.

Well, if you're looking mainly for children's games this may be for you. To be honest, I was expecting a much heavier emphasis on the more athletic (and adult) "sports" --- of which there appears to be only a scattering throughout the book. Perhaps I didn't read the blurb carefully enough. It will end up providing value for money however because I will make it do so. It is quite interesting based on what I've read so far though not quite what I had expected.
