Not heavy duty
It functions fine once set. How durable is yet to be seen Very thin plate with components inside housing. Pins to set time are very tiny. Difficult to see and set. Actual time on dial clock is pretty easy to adjust. Installation video makes wiring very easy.

does what a phone is supposed to do and takes no crap

Sound quality is clear and excellent. For this type of phone texting is more than adequate. This is a larger phone but feels comfortable in your hand, Truly a real phone for a real man.....

Perfect replacement
I debated on buying a used modulator or this one.
I decided on the new one. Very pleased. Fit perfectly
And allowed a smooth transition to led lights. Very pleased.
