1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This is a top-of-the-line ukulele and everything about it reflects that. The craftsmanship is excellent. No ragged edges, no glue smears, no unpleasantness in any respect. The tone is rich, full, and sustained as one would expect from an instrument of this level. The gloss finish and the shimmer effect from the abalone around the face and on the rosette around the sound hole make the koa glow and seem float with the sound. The setup is superb. The action is very good and the chords hold very well into the second, third, and higher positions, with great clarity. Strums also seem to work very well because of this. It has a feel at once classic and very modern. The purfling around the back does a nice job of accentuating the grain of the premium koa and gives it a grace one delights in from a top level instrument. The eye for detail is very good even to the way the headstock is laid out. The tuners are comparable to top level Grovers. If there is a downside to this beauty it is the absence of a pickup. That said a luthier I know can hardly wait to work with this level of instrument. Made in China,yes. That notwithstanding it remains a top quality instrument by any standard. I cannot find any corners that have been cut to produce this lovely ukulele. As an aside, several friends from Hawaii have told me this instrument is of the level that I should give it a name. Should you have a chance to add this sweetheart to your family do not hesitate.
