Where has Agatha Christie gone?

Lynn Redgrave and Dustin Hoffman engage in an act of speculative drama. Agatha Christie disappeared for 11 days and they create a narrative of what might have happened. I really love the character that Hoffman created in this film.

Mosely explores a modern day detective

I've loved the E.C. Rawlins mysteries that take place in Los Angeles in the 1950s and 1960s. Leonid McGill is his new protagonist, a post 9-11 detective. He's short, a boxer in his 50s and lives in New York City. He has a complicated home life and after many years of working for criminals, he's had a change of heart and is trying to make an honest living as he tries to avoid many of his old customers while avoiding the police who still see him as a criminal.
