Universal Remote Control mx-880 via OpenArchitecture PCEditor

Excellent remote if you know how to program it-and have the software.

If you get a URC Complete Control remote, do your homework on remotecentral. These usually require professional programming. I updated an MX-850 remote that is over a decade old, and programmed it myself. So far I am delighted with this unit. You do need to plug it in every three or four days to charge the battery, but I was prepared for that. The buttons are nicely sized and also well backlit when you pick up the remote. This was a near new used one. Be careful of the state of any used remotes that you buy.

Great remote for Sonos S1 products.

This unit only works with older S1 products. It beats having to pull my phone out of my pocket and is great to pass around to let guests choose music. If, like me, you have no interest in upgrading to S2 Sonos products, you might enjoy one of these. The display is great, BTW.

It works very well with URC remotes, but it takes a propritary program from URC
