Arrived after some delay from the PO. Great book, very detailed. But the majority of the book is comprised of Episodes 1-3. Not the best ones. Would have liked to have seen more of the anchor of the franchise. Episodes 4-6. That being said, still a pretty good book.

If you are partial to Boeing aircraft an...
If you are partial to Boeing aircraft and the 747 in particular, BUY this book.
Book was a little wrinkled but still acceptable. The content of the book is FANTASTIC. Besides great articles on the development of the aircraft, there is also a section on what went into the new engines created for the 747. The highlight though, is all of the great color photographs of just about every airline that used them. Most are full broadside or at least 3/4 views.

Master of Time
Even though Athearn has made advance to their motive-power line, it is hard to beat the ruggedness of their "blue box" models. I have just gotten back into model RR after about a 20 year hiatus. I have recently purchased a couple of Athearn's newer offering and I gotta say, I'm not all that impressed. This locomotive ran fine and quiet right out of the box with NO cracked wheel gears. Yes I'll have to wire it for a dcoder and new light fixtures, but for the money it is a great runner and looker and will spend many a session working the yard on my layout.
