Acer Extensa 5620Z is a marvel!
This computer is excellent! The sata drive is efficient and fast with a processor of 1.73GHz and can be run as ide now that the bios is upgraded to 1.35, but is more efficient as sata. Display is excellent, keyboard is ergonomic. The 1GB memory was upgraded to 2GB which is the maximum the processor can handle. The procedure to remove the 1GB and replace the chips was fast and easy. Basically, this computer seems new and upgraded quickly. 4 USB ports are very convenient. The atheros WLAN is excellent, as is the broadcom LAN. Windows Vista is excellent! Negative comments about Windows Vista are not warranted. I'm very satisfied with this purchase!
