FITTING AND SAFETY ISSUES
Element seems to be good quality. However there was a length of red wire included that was surplus to requirements as far as I could see. Also the lugs for the positive and negative connectors were angled such that the two came very close, dangerously close, together when the power wires were attached. I had to bend one lug away from the other to leave a safe gap. Also there was a fibre and a rubber seal/washer. It was not clear in which order and on what side of the urn hole they should be fitted. The earth lug required an eyelet type lug and my appliance had a spade lug. I had to improvise to make it fit. It was strange to find element + and - connectors were spade connector but the earth was an eyelet connector. There was no fitting instructions. This would have addressed most of the issues I had.
