The boxes come flat packed in two sections, 1 x box and 1 x internal base, very easy to assemble.
However they do not hold a locomotive, as they have no method of securing the locomotive once you put it inside. This means most tender locos won’t fit and you cant put a coach or small loco in the box either.
As the boxes are smaller than either the Bachmann or Hornby boxes you cant insert the foam or plastic bubble packaging which holds the locos.
I strongly recommend that you test before you buy any large quantities. I purchased three for two locos and a coach and cant use them
