Simple, fast, and easy to use
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I need a simple device for note-taking on the run, carrying to-do lists, noting expenses, and keeping contact info straight that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, is durable, and is easy to use.
The Palm Pilot IIIc has it all, and for an astoundingly low price. I know there are plenty of newer PDAs out there with lots more bells and whistles, but for the money, this thing just can't be beat. Holds a charge for weeks, HotSyncing only takes a few minutes, and I can attach a portable keyboard when I want to sit and write for any length of time, without sacrificing power usage, or I can use the stylus to make notes by hand. The "graffiti" system is dead-simple to learn.
Another nice feature with the HotSync is the ability to install or upgrade portable applications with little fuss, and to upload and download files to and from the unit. You install the Palm Desktop and the palmOne QuickInstall on your PC, plug the IIIc into the cradle, connect to the PC, turn on the IIIc, and press the Hotsync button on the cradle. It's that simple.
It's compact (smaller than a paperback novel), light-weight, efficient, and intuitive. The color screen has clear, sharp focus, and the backlighting and text size can be set for low visibility conditions.
If you don't need to reach the internet, and you don't need your telephone service built into the PDA, then this is something you should consider. It's built to last, and with 8MB of internal storage, has more than enough room for even the most copious notes you can take, and with the keyboard, eliminates the need for carting a word processor around. Do your work, go home, hotsync, and you have everything where you want it.
My only complaint is that this model uses a Lithium-ion rechargeable battery, rather than the AA-size batteries of my earlier Palm Pilot III. This means I'm dependent on the cradle for re-charging, rather than being able to just pop in fresh batteries every couple of weeks, or rotating rechargeable AA batteries. A minor nick, really, given all the benefits. The LiIon replacements are dirt cheap on eBay, and many are available at higher storage, so that's actually a plus. It's a small price to pay for something that won't be bothersome for at least two years.

Limitless colors, limitless fun!
Not only do these ingenious little palettes keep the paint dry and protected, but it's mix and match all the way, so you can have as few or as many base colors as you like. With a single aquabrush and a mixing area, the possibilities are limitless. I'm not sure about the colorfastness, but Koh-i-noor has a great reputation among Urban Sketchers.
This is a welcome addition to my plein air kit bag.

Powerful, Compact, and Energy Efficient
I had a T3 ceramic hairdryer for years that my kid gave me, until the day I killed it -- I dropped it, and the ceramic interior shattered. I went looking immediately for a replacement, and found out how expensive these T3s really are. I checked out eBay, and there was a brand-new T3, an unboxed original that had never been used, for very little cost. I ordered it immediately, and three days later, had it in use.
This one is even better than my original. It's slightly lighter weight, which means less tiring when drying long hair like mine, and it puts out a great deal of force for the heat (if I want it), or I can opt for low-speed drying.
It came without the end focusing attachment, but I didn't care, as the parts from my original T3 fit perfectly.
And awesome deal, and an awesome product.
