Dyson V6 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner
Excellent little machine.
Review from older Bloke with his own place.
Sick and tired of cables and falling over a vacuum cleaner hose.
Light and easy to use; no dragging a noisy, high wattage, trip hazard around the house any more for me.
It will do my whole house easily on the lesser setting (4 up, 3 down, stairs & hall) which is all you need really; lower, long lasting setting has more than adequate suction for 'normal' use. Will supposedly last 6 mins on full blast. As yet have not had battery go flat whilst in use. Anyway you could always do the house in two goes?. Or two machines?
I only have 2 rugs, the rest is hard flooring; so I guess that would make a difference to time factor.
You can do the car as well with provided extra attachments; so no bother there.
Easy to fix storage dock; device easy to fit and remove from same; you will need the dock near a power point as ideally you would park it there to charge it.
Muck storage container not huge; so may require a couple of emptyings with whole house cleaning; depends how dirty your home is I suppose.
I love the thing...so highly recommended

Nice little Tesco DAB radio
Bought this as a refurbished item so about £12 cheaper than usual. It is as new in spite of latter.
Choose it really, other than price as it for use in my greenhouse, because the buttons are on the front; useful as radio above head height on a shelf.
Tuning presets is tricky; at first I thought the unit was faulty; after many attempts, following instructions, I cracked it; you have to hold the said button for quite a long time. Anyway persevere if you have problems.
For the money I paid it's a good buy and I am satisfied; I don't think I'd pay £30+ though.
Sound quality is good; plenty of functions like alarm, unit is neat and tidy and easy on the eye.
So far so good; so recommended.
