EXACTLY what I wanted
This device does exactly what i wanted it to do. It has two stereo inputs, an option to select between the two of them, and a "more me" input for each of eight channels. The only thing that could be better is individual pots to mix inputs 1 and 2 for each listener. But if that's what I need I should've been buying something else. This is great!

Tickety-Tock Is Magnificent!
I turned to TICKETY-TOCK because the song upon which it was based ("Schmuel Song" from Jason Robert Brown's LAST 5 YEARS) has been a favorite between my girlfriend and I for some time.
The book captures the tale beautifully, almost to the point that any changes in lyri--text throw off the rhythm within which I began to *sing* the book. The changes were all smart edits, however: There is a line in the show "As if God himself was controlling it," and either to avoid the gender assignment of God or to avoid a particularly deity it has been changed to "As if some strange fate was controlling it." (Now if only they could have used the subjunctive, or since it's a recounting of a past story the pluperfect I would be wholly pleased. The familiarization of children with proper grammar is an practice which can never begin too early.)
The rhyme scheme is rather unique for a children's book, and I was pleased to find this. It goes without saying that the artwork by Mary GrandPré is fabulous.
As an adult reading this book I think I found a small heart-string left un-pulled. I believe part of what made the original text so moving is that it's allegorical of the relationship of it's narrator/writer and he is offering time as a Christmas gift in a relationship that we know to be fated to fail. TICKETY-TOCK is literally an adaptation of the fable told within the show.
Nevertheless, at that is succeeds!
