Work well for thick, short hair

I bought this during the coronavirus pandemic when I couldn't go to the beauty shop to get my hair thinned. Then I watched a couple youtube videos with some tips about thinning hair. I showed them to my husband, and he successfully thinned my hair. He did a good job, and now my hair feels much better. I don't know how these shears measure up to professional standards, but in a pinch, they do the job.
