I was surprised to find that when I started it up how well it cut the grass, which was not a lawn, but an uneven ground of weeds. I had it set at it's highest setting because of the high grass to mow. When it came to thick weeds, it speeded up automatically and when it got through it slowed down to save battery. I was surprised to find that it has an indicator to tell when the bag is full. what's great about a Battery power mower is it is easy to turn it over on its side to clean. A great mower.
