Light and easy to use.
This tool came in handy while metal detecting and saved me a lot of searching if I didn't have it. It's easy to use and fits into a small pouch (not included) or pocket of a vest or bag. Learning how to use it is very simple and clean up of the wand after use isn't hard at all, just carry a rag to wipe it with, or use your glove or pants. The interesting part about this piece of equipment is it vibrates when its close to its target. Startling at first but really came in handy if the wind is blowing or you have headsets on. This is one piece of equipment I wouldn't be without in the field. Handy around home as well when looking for dropped metal objects in a carpet or grass.

Another great read from the Gear's.
This book, like others in the series give a fairly good account of how the people may have lived before Europeans arrived on the North American continent. The plot of the story flows and has exciting adventures for the people involved. I would recommend this book for anyone who is interested in life in the paleo era of the First Nation.
