Item was as described , lens is in great condition, the glass is just beautiful. I rarely see a used lens in such condition, especially 70+ year old Jupiter 3s. The lens was also perfectly shimmed to the Leica standard. Prompt shipping and excellent packaging. Thanks for the lens!

【Excellent+++++ in Box】 Contax G2 35mm Rangefinder Film Camera Body from Japan

One of a kind

Contax G2 was one of many standout designs of the late, lamented Contax brand from Kyocera, sporting technology no other rangefinder has ever equalled. Autofocus. Parallax which automatically adjusts in the vf depending on the focusing distance. The only zoom lenses ever created for rangefinders. Lens quality equal to pretty much anything Leica ever made, with the possible exception of a few of Leica's lenses which cost well north of $5,000. Easy to use, affordable these days, and simply a rangefinder which is in many ways srill unequalled in the photographic world, the Contax G2. After using one, I bought another.
