Good lens to start in the M amount system
It’s a good lens! Just not great. Reasonably sharp when stopped down, relatively soft all around at 1.4. The copy I have seems to stick a bit when rotating the focus ring on occasion but I feel this is more due to using it on the X-T1 & T2 with it’s different form factor. I have not had the chance to use it on the Leica yet.
Overall seems to be a great value for the money and will produce some stellar images, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy one again.

Lens is awesome. Don't listen to the haters.
Lens creates fantastic and perfectly sharp images for real use. It is light and useful. While f4 leaves a bit to be desired, IBIS and OSS helps significantly in normal to dim indoor settings.
