excellent portable hard drive

I love the sleek design, the portability, the ability to be powered by just a USB:mini USB cable. Be forewarned, the hard drive depends on a good quality USB cable like the one it comes with in the box. Cheap USB cables may lead to data corruption or data loss or inability to power the hard drive adequately. I got this item for $105 shipped which is a fair price considering that the 1.5terabyte seagate internal 3.5" hard drives are selling for $120 now.

Great lens. Has Macro mode. Paid $500USD

Shipped from Japan. More costly than a usual 18-55 lens but the optics are supposedly better and the macro mode is nice. The 24-70 is a great range also.

good starter SLR

I like that it has the basic features of what a digi SLR has I am told that this particular model is not compatible with many lenses Also, I read on some websites that the "metering" default is not "tuned" correctly and that users have to manually compensate to get the best exposure at times. so far, my pictures are great. 6.1 MP is good enough for me...a lot of people have double that these days though.
