I don't get lost now
I use charts for fairisle knitting, and often have difficulty in following the lines and columns of the charts with the detail and accuracy demanded. This simple device has solved the problem, and am delighted that I now don't get lost! Simple to use, strong magnets, compact and easy to store in my workbag ... delighted.

Excellent value
I purchased this measure for my husband who is replanning the layout of our garden. He was delighted with the excellent value and versatility of the tool, and has set about the task in hand with renewed gusto!

From line pattern to stitched butterflies and other insects.
I bought this book for two reasons. One of which was to revisit the work of Helen Stevens - her use of silk and stranded cotton threads in her work is magical. Secondly, this edition is in her 'Masterclass' series, in which she gives detailed advice and instruction, as well as patterns for set pieces. I have already completed two of the pieces featured, and another concentrating on her techniques in my own design. This is a beautiful book (I think the current expression is 'eye candy'), yet the illustrations are clear and instructional. Not for the absolute beginner, but stitchers with some basic knowledge will be tempted to try out some of the techniques and aim to produce some absorbing, satisfying and beautiful pieces. I would also recommend her other books in this series.
