Works well for the purpose I bought it for
Used in conjunction with OBS Studio open source software it is quite simple to record to your PC from an HDMI source. Results are very good in terms of picture and sound quality.

Recommended for any serious 2001 movie fan
This would have to be one of the most comprehensive books on the making of "2001: A Space Odyssey" ever published. Around 550 pages containing chapters on all aspects of the film from development to production and initial release, plus interviews with a number of people involved in the original production. Lots of images as well including original concept art, production stills, set diagrams and construction and scenes from the film. Images include many large format "fold out" pages. I think anyone seriously interested in this film or even film making in general would be impressed with this book. There are also a number professional reviews of this book available on line that I would recommend checking out.
