A wonderful collection.
Can't stop playing it. Every track is a gem.

Worth it for Roger Waters venting his spleen on the gong alone.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Pink Floyd captured just before they take off to the Dark Side of the Moon. They look great, play great, and it's all shot beautifully. The emphasis is on them, the scenery and the music, rather than an elaborate stage show. It's wonderful to see David Gilmour conjuring weird electricity from his guitar on Saucerful of Secrets to his more beautifully worked solos on One of these Days and Echos. Roger attacks the gong with gusto and screams like a demon on Careful with that Ax Eugenie. By far the best live concert of the band captured on film, even if there is no audience.
Then there's all the interviews and studio footage of them making what would later become their biggest selling album.

An absolute gift to fans of The Who. Visually stunning.
The Kilburn gig is absolutely stunning. The quality of film and the many angles are vivid and dynamic.
The Who are possibly a bit out of practice of playing together but that actually adds to the tension and the raw power.
Great selection of songs, Keith Moon is a joy, his second to last gig.
Townshend is on fire, his stage madness at a peak, he's doing things with his body, whilst playing guitar that don't seem possible.
Daltrey's voice is in top shape and Entwhistle is thundering off bass lines in defiance of the laws of physics.
The coliseum gig is poor visually, with bit missing and the long shots being very blurred but the music is astounding and the close ups are often great and there's enough to more than hold the interests of any Who fan.
The whole package, particularly Kilburn is a real found in the vaults gift to the fans.
