Just doesn't work...
While in the photo it seams that it will be a stable structure, in reality, it's very very flimsy! All of its joints and sliders move about freely even with a heavy laptop on top of it.

Skip this, get the original.
It seems that Apple now sells a slightly different and improved model of the charger, that isn't reflected on this model. I have bought two or them and both had issues with looking used and worn out, and both eventually lost their snap when connecting the charger cable to them. I guess that I would recommend spending the full price and getting the original one from apple, and take advantage of the warranty that comes with it.
