Good quality, great value

I bought this L-bracket for my Nikon Z6 after having used RRS, Kirk and other L-brackets on my previous Nikon DSLRs. This is just as well made and at a much lower price point. It is very compact, yet opening and access to the contacts on the side of the camera is maintained. Nicely machined too.

After getting a replacement, it's finally good

The first adapter I got fitted nicely with both camera and lens mounts. However, after testing for infinity focus, I found out the adapter was slightly too thick. I measured it, at it has the _exact_ thickness specified by the difference between Leica M and Nikon Z mounts. I then measured my Voigtlander VM-E Close Focus adapter which has been working fine and it is in fact 0.1mm thinner than it should be based on specs. I wrote an email to Gabale and promptly got an answer and shortly after was told I would get a replacement. They told me that they have make the adapters 0.1mm thinner now. I received it after about a week and while I was now able to reach infinity, the lens mount was overly thick and thus grinding my M mount lenses. Luckily I could change the lens mount ring from the first adapter and put it on the new one in order to get a nicely working adapter. All the above should explain why I recommend it, but don't rate it as "of good quality". Hopefully I was just unlucky with my sample(s).
