Harley-Davidson and Philosophy

It was a most interesting philosophy of Harley-Davidson, and who and what kind of people ride them based on the other brands of motorcycles available on the market. This especially coming from a college professor who is a rider also. Basically, it is about the attitude of those who ride, why they ride, and why they would buy a Harley-Davidson to ride. Some of the comments from the author are a bit "off beat" so to speak, but a hard to put down book once you start reading it. All in all a "A" book for motorcycle people to read.

The Harley-Davidson Reader

One of the best and easiest to read and understand about the H-D history.

This book is especially fun with the Jean Davidson adventures of growing up trying to fit in with her male Davidson family members. If you enjoy this you have to read Jean Davidson's book "Growing up Harley-Davidson". They both fit pretty good together. The other "facts" in the Reader are easy to understand.

Couldn't be a better book title

I purchased this book because it was written about a city I spent 45 years in, and saw some of the pictures of buildings, businesses, people who were there years before me...I left there in 1985, and gave this book to my kids to read, all three were born in Bismarck, N.D. A great book to read and remember about a city that I grew up in.
