Covers the subject
The quality of the printing and pictures and the book itself are excellent. However, I do not believe the author has/had any real interest in this actual model of bus. No mention of what size engines they had, or anything about the gear boxes they had and what modification did London Transport (LT) have to make too them to make them more drivable. No mention of the difference between the MK1 and the MK2. I could go on... But the biggest problem with this author is the overuse of initialisms, and at no point does he spell out the initialisms. What does LS actually stand for? Or GLC, GLA, DM, DMS, DVLC, MS? I could go on. Most people will have no idea what these acronyms mean and for me just spoils the book. If you want to know what buses were at what garages and when, then fine.
