Large internal space, large flow, decent loudness, good price.
1 von 2 finden das hilfreich The flow is very great. It would give perfect circulation for a 10 gallon tank but in my 5.5 gallon tank, the flow is way too strong. This can be fixed by attaching a sponge or ceramic rings onto the outtake of the filter.
The inside of the filter is huge! It fits extra sponges, activated carbon, zeolite, pillow stuffing, and any other filter media needed. This space allows for a lot of customization since no filter is perfect.
After many months of use, it still works well. However, sometimes the motor will become disconnected to the fans that push the water. This can be fixed by detaching the pipe and reattaching it.
It has a quiet hum to it if you get close to it. In a really silent room, the sound is prevalent.
It doesn't come with an intake sponge. Other filters of worse quality but the same price come with the sponge.
In conclusion; good filter for the price. Strong flow with lots of internal space. Has a slight noise to it.

Does it's job
This is a product that cost a little over 5 dollars and will do it's job to house a female endler for breeding. However, this size will not be able to house a guppy nor a betta that is advertised in the photo. It's way too small and the grate that is supposed to separate the poop/fry/eggs are too high up in the breeder box to be viable. The fish will become stressed out if used. If removed, the fish will do fine.
One good thing about this product is that if it's original purpose fails, it still works very well as a dam to lessen water disturbance during water changes. (pour water in the breeder box while in the tank to stop water from kicking up gravel in one spot) The breeder box could also be turned into a tiny plant holder in the tank.
In conclusion, the breeder box is very small but can house a pregnant female endler or similarly sized fish. If it fails as a breeder box, can be used for other purposes.
