Patricia Routledge is great
My mother is a big Patricia Routledge fan of Keeping Up Appearances but had not heard of this series which I enjoyed very much when it ran on PBS. So far, Mom is enjoying the new characters.

Looks great but mechanical issues
We have a 3 light linear version of this hanging in an open stairwell. It looks great but the assembly has not been right since we bought it - one of the lights has damaged threads and the glass shade has fallen onto the stairs a couple few times, fortunately carpeted, so that the glass never broke - until recently that is when it finally did break. The linear version seemed to be discontinued almost immediately after it was installed so we couldn't just replace it then. So we are buying this round version basically for the parts to try to salvage what we have in hopes we don't have to get something completely different.

Replacement for failed handsets
Bought two of these to replace handsets for which the microphones had failed - so am glad to get the replacements but disappointed that the originals failed. Oddly, the manual for the set EL 52210 has nothing about how to register the new handsets to the base but between Google and info on the handset screen, was able to do it easily. Happy to find these as they are for my mother's phone and this is a lot easier than trying to bring her up to speed with a new phone set.
