Having only paid £24.99 for these speakers including delivery I wasn't expecting too much. How wrong I was. Well made and not over rated with wild claims of 1000s watts power handling. They sound good and will produce some good powerful bass for a shelf mounted speaker. The do need an external power amp to drive them though. I don't think running them directly from a head unit will give the best results. For the money though, you can't go wrong with these.

MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum PCB Ver 1.0

Excellent motherboard with loads of connectivity. 4 x SATA II ports, 4 x SATA I ports, 2 x RAID controllers, 4 x IDE ATA133 ports, 10 x USB 2.0 ports, 2 x 1394 ports and PCI-E graphics with PCI-E Takes the AMD socket 939 CPU and DDR400 RAM so a bit dated in this area but with a RAID striped OS disk and AMD 4200 64X2 processor it still gives a very fast system. Very stable board with plenty of BIOS tweaks for overclockers.

HDMI to VGA

Works well with computer monitors that don't have HDMI inputs, so does what it's advertised to do. I also tried it with the PC input on several older televisions to try and add an extra HDMI input but unfortunately it didn't work for that. Something to do with HDCP I think.
