Great bundle at a very affordable price

This is a great bundle! The RLPS 30 M power supply provides sufficient volts and amps to power the transceiver at full power. The TYT TH-7800 is very easy to set-up and performs flawlessly. This transceiver is a highly recommended buy. It provides the rated PEP on VHF/UHF. I recommend to read the manual carefully. This will help you to set the repeater functions to exact specifications the first time. I am getting great reports from other Amateur Radio operators on the clarity and volume of voice modulation. This configuration was indoors. The provided separation cable and faceplate mount easily enabled me to mount the radio far away from the sensitive electronics in my new vehicle. The microphone picks-up some road noise (Windows down, Sirrus radio) and needs some adjustment in vehicle. RECOMMEND 1. If you plan remote mount the transceiver in a vehicle do not forget to also purchase an external speaker. 2. Ensure the power cables, separation cable and external speaker cables are housed in a wire loom for protection.
