Nice addition
Works great on my Navaho 492, not the 495, doesn't accept it; but that unit is temperamental. Pleased with the purchase. The 492 will work well with the echo mic.

Good beginner antenna
Can't compete with an 18ft version, but still a good choice. I have one on my second base, it doesn't compare to my 18ft with GPK on my main base but still pretty good. Certainly can't beat the price. Must have 50ft if coax for the SWR to be low.

Had a similar unit like this years ago and worked well; this was my second chance with Maco, bought two at different times and returned both. Knobs are lose and didn't lower my SWR much to make it worth keeping. Zetagi is a great match box; purchased here on ebay...takes a couple of weeks to receive it because it comes from UK, but worth the wait.
