Excellent playability and price- a steal!
What a surprise! The recorder sounds good, has a nice even weight and is well-intonated.
And the price is a steal> Easy to play and more reliable than my (very expensive) wooden recorders. And better to take outside! Highly recommended

Accurate, great value recorder
Good weight and well balanced. Very good intonation and great price. Yamaha really has the manufacturing process, down to the simulated wood grain, perfected. This is my go-to due to its durability instead of my (very expensive) wooden recorders when outside and for practice. Highly recommended

A forgotten master, great performance
Spinacino was know in his time as a great lutist and composer. He was the first to be published in 1507 and for years critics didn't know quite to make of his music- "disorganized, wondering". The interpretation by Marchese is wonderful and does a real service in performing and humanizing the music. Spinacino is a real find, less refined and more direct than the later and more performed Francesco da Milano. Listen to this CD and you will not be
disappointed!
