Suffersystem by Monster Voodoo Machine
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich If you want to get your blood pumping with your hands on the wheel of a high performance machine, this album is just what the doctor ordered. Street smart swaggar with night club overtones are in store for you.
Displaying moody and plodding tracks like "Temple", "Sunspots" and "Adding insult to injury", Monster Voodoo Machine weave a sonic tapestry that envelope your soul to the point of out of body experiences if you're not careful. They switch that up with in your face, headbanging efforts like "Bastard is as bastard does" and "Inside these walls" that swerve in and out of the techno-industrial metal crossover vein smartly and adeptly. They pull up and blatantly park the machine in that vein on "Defense mechanism" with non-cheesy conviction.
Skillfull blending of great guitar riffs, mildly distorted vocals and upbeat rhythm section propulsion mixed perfectly makes Suffersystem a must have for the metal addicts who like to get the party jumping.
There truly is no other entity to compare this album to, as MVM have staked a claim on unpioneered land. Think of a coctail 2 parts Corrosion of Conformity, 1 part Ministry, and a dash of some other worldly ingredient still yet unidentified. That ingenuity garners a very high rating for this piece of musicianship.

Almost perfect
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Boom stand is sturdy and versatile enough for gigs. It has nice reach to position it anywhere. The weight comes off and it adapts into a straight stand pretty easy. Only issue I've found is the counter weight connects by just a click on mechanism. It hasn't fallen off, but it seems like it might after some abuse. Thats not a deal breaker by any means though, and I would buy another in a heartbeat.
