I was there...
When I was 20, and I trained as a rifleman at Fort Ord, I was sent to Korea. The movie has brought back many memories. The movie has many of the hardships that has been suffered but
not the snow season. Its a classic!

A different kind of movie. Very entertaining!
There has been some criticism of Gregory Peck's part in the movie but then you could criticize all the actors for the direction of the movie. Personally I find the entertainment of the fictional part of the movie very entertaining and the acting of all the actors fit their parts to the story.
All in all, a very entertaining movie. It was different from all the garbage
being presented today.
