Used thin brown paper which offered no protection from elements and or handling by USPS. Not a cheap book and hard to come by. Better protection would have been nice.

Great water heater
It works great. The only criticism I have is that if you are not replacing this exact model you will also need the outer mounting flange and door. The flange and door are not included with this water heater. Otherwise it a a great product.

I works as advertised
I bought this transmitter to replace my older one that was lost. Ordered this one and found the old one the next day.
I like the new one; It's not as boxy as the old one. It came in the sealed package as pictured and works very well.

Plug N Play
I installed it myself. I found a step by step (with photos) in a Lexus forum and the installation went very well.
