Inaccurate.

Inaccurate. I can get virtually zero runout playing around with just the collet and holder - as soon as the nut is used and tightened it goes way out - Perhaps the thread is inaccurate? You can get more accuracy from a 3 jaw chuck.. You may be able to use it for milling etc, and be happy with it, but in a lathe it is hopeless as a precision tool. ... There have been many videos on Y++ Tube showing the problem with Far Eastern collet chucks. A great pity as they are nearly there...... Just be aware of what you are buying and make sure this level of accuracy is useful for the job you are doing - it is not useful to me in a lathe.

The quality remains long after the price is forgotten

I've seen many genuine H-D batteries still working well after a decade or longer. They're expensive initially - but when your "enhanced by advertising" wonder battery battery fails in under two years, you can recall all those old adages like "buy once cry once" I tried a lithium battery - supposedly big CCA - it wouldn't even crank it over - starts a cbr1000 but wont crank a 1200 hi comp twin These batteries are heavy, not cheap, but quality. Someone else might tell you it'll last a year - this is just my experience....
