Reversal Valve Wire wasn't connected from factory !!

Got this unit to heat my basement. Had it installed professionally. It was only cooling but not heating. Installer tried recharging the coolant, no luck. Then he contacted his friend who is more familiar with the internals of these units. He speculated that the reversal valve was not working since it was only cooling but not heating. And bingo, he told me that one of the 2 wires going into it wasn't even connected (from the factory). He connected it and now it's working correctly. Everything else about the unit is great, other than one other issue which I consider minor -- the louvre "swing" doesn't work anymore, although it might be because I moved the louvre manually and might have broken it. It's fine, I don't need it to swing anyway, just in the open position which I am now adjusting manually. The reversal valve issue to me is serious enough that I'm giving it 3 stars. Otherwise it would've been 5 stars.
